Getting to know each other...I'll go first

*If money were no object what would your dream home look like?
Probably in the size and shape of an orphanage

*If money were no object where would you shop for clothes?

Goodwill-my favorite! (any thrift store -I like them all over the world...ask my dear husband who spends a lot of time prior to our vacation trying to find them for me ;-)

*If money were no object where would you like to go on vacation?
London, England

*If you could go back in time with whom would you like to spend a day with?
Well, besides Jesus- probably my dad, because he died suddenly when I was pregnant with 'King Bob of the Wiflesnorfs, (my dear daughter)...16 years ago now, I still miss him. I know he would have been a wonderful Grandfather.

*If you could go forward in time, what would you want to know?

All my great, great, great, great, great, great, great grandschildren-as they are my heritage in the Lord. Well if the Lord doesn't come before then
If you could be an animal for one day, what would you be and why?
Hmm, curious question- probably my dog 'Silly, Silly Bunter' -we really want to know if he is watching t.v.!

*If you could meet a famous person, who would it be?
George Mueller, because he ran such a big orphanage by faith!
What "critter" scares you the most?
I'd have to agree with my friend Sarah, there is something about coming across a mouse in the dark that just makes you scream! I stepped on a nest of mice last year on my basement hatchway stairs and boy did it give me the willies!

*If you were stranded on a desert island what one object would you want with you? (besides your Bible of course)
my coffee maker (pretty dumb, as there is no electricity, probably would run out of pods and the thing would just drive me insane...can I change my answer??)

*If you could only have one favorite food to eat for the rest of your life, what would it be?
greek salad

*If you could trade places with one person, who would it be?
The Queen Mum...you know how I love London! (The Palace perspective would be rather fresh I think!)
(only short term)

*If you could trade places with someone for 1 day, who would it be?
Moses, when he shone with the Glory of the Lord (after being in the Lord's presence!)
What's your fav ice cream flavor?
coffee, without a doubt

*When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
a missionary/teacher (once I got saved at 13)

*If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I love London, England...but I'd love to see Italy and Greece too! Really I love to fly- send me anywhere!

*Besides God, who has influenced you the most?
My Parents!

*What's your favorite book?
Streams in the Desert (a devotional by Mrs.charles E. Cowman) I have an old hardback copy by my bedstand. online version-
http://in.geocities.com/gloryofhiscross/

*What part of your daily routine do you enjoy most?
Reading out loud to my children

*Where's the most interesting place you have been?
My favorite place is a place I call,' My Serene Pleasure'- it was built after the Great Depression and is a town reservoir now...not many people know it has walking trails...but it is my favorite local retreat. Very Beautiful, very serene-wish I was there now, sigh!

*What's your most fervent prayer?
That God would bless me with children!!!!!!

*What makes the world go round?
Is the answer french roast coffee??
espresso?? English Tea with Scones and clotted cream???

*What one thing do you think would create peace in the world?
I think maybe instituting tea daily might help!
(The answer is Jesus!)

*What's the bravest thing you've ever done?
Vowing with the Lord at 13 years old (as a brand new Christian) to adopt children for Him

*What's the best compliment you've ever received?

I think it is when I had to have a 'sign name' given to me at American School of the Deaf- and my friends said my sign should be the sign for 'sweet', but with a K for Kimmie' (a signed K rubbed 1 time down the chin)
(the letter k is: take your dominant hand extend the pointer finger and middle finger(like a peace sign), palm facing out-insert the thumb between the two extended fingers-all other fingers down resting on the palm. With index finger (palm out)on chin, gentle slide down to base of chin.)
* I am not deaf, but took sign language classes at a Deaf school-my husband and I thought we would be adopting a deaf child.

*What gift have you received that you will always treasure?
a ring my parents bought me for my high school graduation-it wasn't a high school ring, but a gold with diamond and gemstone ring. It was very expensive- first my dad said ,"No." But then went back and got it for me. Since my father's death, it is especially dear to me.

*What is your favorite Bible verse (or "one" of your favorites) and what does it mean to you?
Mark 1:17
Jesus said, " Follow me and I will make you fishers of men."
- it is my call to walk with God and bring others into a real-ationship with Christ!

*How did your husband propose to you?

On a dance floor at my graduation from college...should have suspected something when the whole dance floor cleared and it was just us left!
