My distraction

Thought you'd like a peak at Tobin (our abandoned kitten) these days.

We are still dropper feeding him, though he totally devours solid food now. I guess its my way of having a baby in the house again. He brings us such joy. My knight never had a kitten, so he is in awe of Toby's being. So sweet and a very welcome distraction mentally.

What an adorable 'distraction'! And I don't even like pets....

I don't like cats in general, but I do have a fondness for baby kittens. Very cute, that one.

You have a regular zoo at your house what with all those animals and strays... love it!

Aww, Kimmie - he looks like my Cinnamon when he was just a baby.

I sincerely hope that I didn't upset you yesterday. Sometimes I think it best to keep my mouth shut - after I have opened it.

Love,
Julie

Julie;

(((Hug))

You haven't upset me, fear not my friend.

I know that we are called to adoption (still), we are just waiting to hear where God wants us. If we don't hear, we will remain in Guatemala- if it closes God will direct us-if that is His timing in when our adoption will happen.

I talked with my husband and all my kids after your comment, to see what they thought. We 'know' we are just in 'waiting' mode for our adoption. None of us felt like it was a 'stop- or cease' from the Lord in regards to further adoptions.

Thank you though for speaking it, as it gave me the confirmation from deep within that though I don't know "where" we are going...I know what we are doing and that it is in sync with His will.

blessings to you
Kimmie

Hey, we have one of those too! Ours is gray though, and only 3 weeks old and still so tiny. :)

Regarding your adoption and waiting on the Lord, I just read this beautiful post yesterday about a woman who went to Africa to adopt two little girls and how God redirected her. My life verse is, "the mind of man plans his way but the LORD directs his steps." I encourage you to read the full story here: http://internationalmommy.blogspot.com/2007/10/news-charity-is-home.html

God has a wonderful plan for your family in all of this. I am excited to hear how it all turns out!
I continue to keep your family in my prayers!

Blessings,
Angel

What a sweetie! Our cat had 9 kittens this summer. We kept 2 making our grand cat total 5! Way too many in my opinion, but hey, we live on a farm. What's a farm without lots of animals right? ~Karlie

There's just something about kitties and cats. I never did like them, until one decided to try to live with us (that was short-lived!) but I've been hooked ever since.

I'd think with 6 kids you wouldn't need too many distractions!
