Those are great scenes! One thing I determined when moving back to the Adirondacks was that I was never going to take the beauty here for granted! I LOVE the mountains and sometimes pull the car over just to look for a minute. Thank you for sharing those!

These photos create such a pretty, green, peaceful mood. I've been in awe myself at the amazing autumn colors and weather God created around me lately. Thanks for the info about unschooling. It makes a lot of sense. I can really see it for girls , because more than likely, they will end up being stay-at-home moms and not career women, but for my son, eduction is more important to me because if he wants to support a wife and kids, he will need to hold down a job in the world, you know? A college education is how my husband does that. I know God can do anything and maybe I'm showing a lack of maturity and trust of Him, but we want our son to be able to make money in the world and want him to have the educational tools to do that, even if they don't make sense to us. But I'm open to God's leading, just like you said. Who knows what He will do in my life? In our lives?
