I'm going to TEA!

My dear mother-in-law is taking me to tea! Every year for the past several years, she has made a date to take each of my girls to tea for their birthday. The girls have loved this day with their grandmother. A day to be a big girl, a day to make big girl conversation, to go to a real English tea shop and to do some boutique shopping afterwards.

Every year each of my daughters have mentioned to my second mum, how much their mama would love this. I guess they finally convinced her, because 2 weeks ago she called me and asked if I'd like a day out with her. ;-)

How fun! I was friends with my mum in law, prior to being friends with my Knight. You see, I was asked to come be 'Saturday girl' for her. In the process of getting a weekly job helping her around her home, I hooked myself a husband! (the all of 14 year old girl that I was!) I began dating my husband at 15 (I know, so young)...and 5 years later (he was in college and law school) while I finished up high school and my college, we were married.
A little more about tea later...will try to snap some shots!

I too love to go to Tea Rooms! It just makes you feel so special sitting there admist all of the finery, having good conversation! Enjoy your time with your MIL and girls. Mine are still a bit too young to appreciate something like that. However, I know that when they get a wee bit older, they will love it as much as I do. :)

Please do post pictures! I would love to see them. Have a lovely time!
