Prayer Request Sunday

Prayer Request Sunday

I have something on my heart, and I am not sure if I yet have achieved understanding of it, but I will share this with you and see if it doesn't fit.

So often I have had a burden which has been lightened by someone coming along side me and holding me up with prayer. I have seen and felt its effect in my life many times over the course of my time as a believer.

I'd like to share your burden, hold you up before God ~with your need.

The bible tells us to love one another and that when two or more are gathered, there He is in our midst. Please feel free to leave me either a private email with your prayer request or a request in the comment area of this posting. I will keep a journal with your requests. I look forward to the day when we can write down the praise, indicating the answer to your prayer.

Have a wonderful Sunday and may He direct your every step!

2 Chronicles 6:40

"Now, O my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer {offered} in this place.

Please pray for some health issues I am having. I will be seeing another specialist tomorrow. I haven't had much success with doctors but I know God is the greatest healer of all!

Oh, how I believe in the power of prayer! I know that's partly what gets me through each day. God is good and His timing is perfect in all things.

I would like to request prayer for my mother. My father died in January and she, of course, misses him terribly. She has diabetes and a very bad back that gives her all kinds of trouble. She is in constant pain. She was able to get a cortisone shot, but then her blood sugar levels went dangerously high and she had to go to the hospital. She's always been the caregiver to not only me, but my dad as well. She has a servant's heart and is a kind, generous woman. Please pray that if it is God's will she can have some relief soon. Thank you!

I don't get to visit here often, but I have been praying and thinking of your wonderful family.

Kimmie, you are full to overflowing with the heart of God! Thank you so much for your generous offer to pray for me, an in-reality-stranger! I am always encouraged by your gentle thoughts, your trust in our Father and your passion to pray. (It has been obvious all along!)

If you would pray for my sister, our R's mom, she is pregnant again, due in late Feb. She is in the same kind of lifestyle as she was when she had R (which is why he lives with us) and as far as I know, has no healthy plan for herself or the baby.

I desperately long to cherish and protect this child (in our home), but Rod says No, so I also need prayer to be submissive to God and my husband's will.

Thank you so much for taking this up on my behalf. Our prayers will reach God's ears together. Your kindness staggers me!

Any more word from your littlest prophet?

Hi Kimmie :) What a lovely thing to begin! I will pray for you as you do this thing, and it will be such a joy.

We are beginning a new schedule tomorrow with the time change, and I would love to have you pray with me. Love to you! Q

Bobbie Jo;

Silly girl, you aren't a stranger you are my family. I am honored to pray for you and your dear sister.

Will your sister attempt to keep the baby? I am not sure how it works in Canada- depending on the situation here - the state will step in at birth and become the "parent."
My heart aches with this-oh, that she could choose a family. (pick me, pick me!)

love you my dear sister, remember you are family! praying for your aching heart and for God to touch this situation with his abundant LOVE!

Kimmie, first I want you to know that I pray for you too, dear sister! AND Thank you for being excited and willing to hear our requests.

My biggest thing at this time is my son in the public school will stand strong for Jesus. He is doing great, but I know it can be hard. I pray protection over him all. the. time. but it is nice to know others are praying as well.

My first choice is to be obedient to God in submitting to my husbands desire that he be in school with him, but my heart REALLY wants him home with me!

THANK YOU!!!

Kimmie,
Please pray that we have a finalization date soon on Elia's adoption. I'll be calling the lawyer on Monday. Also pray for the remaining legal fees that we need in order to finalize.

God miraculously provided everything we needed up to this point, and I know He can provide this last bit of $$$ that is needed!

Blessings and thanks for Praying!

Kimmie,
You are such a darling. A true Christian not just in theory but in practice. I love the idea of keeping a journal and I might just have to do the same. "What you do for the least of my brothers, you do unto me."

If I may ask, please pray for a blessing to our finances. We're struggling and my husband is upset. I put my faith in God, but he puts his in the piece of paper they hand him every Thursday at work. I don't want a lavish lifestyle. I joke that I'm not greedy, just don't want to be needy. Please pray, Kimmie. Thank you so much!

Love,
Julie

Hi Kimmie,

I would love for you to pray for my hubby and his work. He needs to quit working so physically, but with work slowing down that is proving to be difficult---he has to take what he can get. We were on our way to his being more of a "foreman" and then the economy slowed, and not we are back at square one.

I know that God has this in his hands, but i wish that I could see the light at the end of the tunnel. maybe you could pray for some patience on my part too! ;)

Kimmie,

I know, I really do think of you as a dear sister, but this web-world is such a different way to form relationships. I do wish we could truly meet for coffee. I know I would be so blessed!

I think she plans on secretly keeping the baby, but I've alerted SS, who have alerted the hospitals. Because she is in another province, they may give her a chance to parent. If that doesn't happen or work out, the baby would be placed in foster care until a family member could step in. (I think the other grandma would.)

She has never been a planner, so I doubt she would make an adoption plan, though she mentioned it long ago. We know a family here that would love to adopt.

So many sides to pray about. I know God has it ALL under control. He just doesn't always reveal His plan to me. I guess it is on a need-to-know basis, and I don't need to know!

I trust.
