Prayer Request Sunday

Hi friends, hope you are well today and that you are enjoying your day of rest.

If this is your first time here, welcome! I am so glad you are here, can I pray for you? Please feel
free to email me (email is on my sidebar) or leave me your prayer request in the comment section at the end of this post.

God guided me to start this about a month ago, we have 33 requests in my journal and have heard several reports back praising God for answering their prayers! How awesome is that.

I have a confession, I asked God for people to pray for, as I was having a bad time sleeping~I desired to make use of my non-sleeping time. I kept getting woken up during the night, but couldn't get back to sleep. (the two reasons I couldn't sleep- serious shoulder pain from a long ago car accident and the second being the devil, as he thought he could wear me down if I couldn't sleep- and yes, I do know that it was him and I don't ever capitalize his name.)

Since God guided me to opening up my blog on Sundays to prayer requests- my sleep has returned to normal (for 6 months I couldn't sleep). Now, I only wake up if the Lord wants me to pray, not because of pain or the evil one. Now, this is a PRAISE and I thought you needed to know! The devil doesn't want me to intercede, so he wants me to sleep-suddenly (upon me beginning to intercede each time I was rudely woken up) my sleep is normal. (well, normal for me, probably isn't normal for you- God calls me to pray often for people in the night.) I am still covering all of you, but the difference is joy and delight!

Don't be shy!

Have a wonderful Sunday and may He direct your every step!

2 Chronicles 6:40
"Now, O my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer {offered} in this place.

Kimmie,
We finalize our adoption this Thursday, would you please pray for peace in the courtroom and favor with the judge. We have no reason to believe there will be any hick-ups, but the judge isn't know for being the kindest man.

:)
Thanks!

Kimmie, we have five adopted children have recently starting thinking about #6. This child has some major special needs and we would love prayer for clear guidance on whether to move forward.

Thank you so much.

Yay, God!!! Are you at liberty to share any of the Answered Prayers? I love hearing how God is moving in people's lives.

...I have to say I really liked that you don't capitalize the enemy's name. Yep. I had never thought about it in that way.

Hi Kimmie,

Last week I asked you to pray for my youngest daughter, recently adopted in May and having major insecurity issues. This week, I would like you to add both of my daughters to the list (Katy & Lindsey). Since the little one needs so much attention and affection, having it only for the first time after experiencing severe neglect in the orphanage, my older one feels "lonely and left out." Hoping God can help me pour on love, security and confidence to both children.

I use my sleepless nights as prayer time too! I am glad you are able to sleep again, and NO, I don't ever capitalize his name either.

My prayer request this week is to be praying for me as I write a letter to someone I have never met or spoken too. I was asked to encourage her because she also has arthritis and is really down right now. I have no idea whether she is a christian or not. Her husband has left her because of the disease and she is not responding well to medicines. I want to be an encouragement to her, but more importantly a witness! I am excited, but also nervous as I don't want to scare her off right away. I know the Lord will guide me with the words to say!

Thank you for prayers!
