Prayer Request Sunday

Yeah, it's Sunday! Hope your having a wonderful day of rest and worship. There is such a peace that resides in my heart on Sundays-hope you're experiencing the same.
Can I pray for you this week? Are you believing God for something, do you have a physical or spiritual hurt or a need? Please don't hesitate to ask me to stand with you in prayer, it would be my privilege to believe with you.
I have a prayer request for a friend from church, her name is Christina. Christina is in Ethiopia right now adopting a baby. The baby is 8 weeks old and has come down with meningitis and also has hydrocephalus and blindness. I only learned of Christina adopting last week and don't know if the child was blind at birth or if this is new as of this new sickness? I had seen her face for the past year at church, but we never met until our Pastor announced she was leaving for Ethiopia to adopt a baby girl. Please would you cover her in prayer? She has 3 more weeks in Ethiopia before she is supposed to come home with Samara. My heart is heavy for her, this is her first adoption. Christina is a true servant and wasn't afraid to step out and follow God into this adoption, though she is a young single girl. If God brings her to your heart, will you pray for her. If I hear any news I will let you know.
2 Chronicles 6:40"Now, O my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer {offered} in this place.

Hi Kimmie- thank you for letting us know about Christina, I will be praying for her. What a true servant of the Lord and amazing person. I cannot think of anything more worthwhile. Also, if you could still keep praying for us and for the child God wants us to add to our family I would appreciate it so much! You are awesome Kimmie! :0) Amy

Kimmie, I have said a prayer for Christina and Samara. What a brave thing for a young woman to do.

I do actually have a prayer request. Please pray that God will grant overflowing wisdom to my husband and I. We have hit some finacial hard times due to a rental house that has not been able to rent for the last couple of months. We need to know whether or not God wants us to sell it, or ride out the hard times. It gets more complicated, as because we hope to be leaving for the mission field before the year is over, and will be placing the house we are living in on the market in March. does God want us to move into this rental while we raise our support? Is this perhaps the reason we haven't been able to rent it? Anyhow, our hearts are burdened over the finacial status of things, and we would love to have your prayers.

Hi Kimmie!
I wanted to thank you for your prayers. Our daughter and son-in-love had a safe trip and have decided to accept the position as houseparents. They are so excited to answer God's call on their lives, everything has just fallen into place. Thank you so much for praying for them!
Love, Velvia

Hi Kimmie--

Would you pray that we would receive a referral this week? We heard that it should be soon. We are so excited to find out who God has to add to our family.

Thank you for praying for us!

Blessings, Jenny

Hi Kim, Can you please pray for my friend who is in early stages of pregnancy and concerned about baby. Peace for her and her husband and the ability to trust God, and for a miracle. Also my church is having a prayer drive at the moment, if there is anything we can pray for you or anyone else, go to www.cityfocus.com.au
