Prayer Request Sunday

Hey all my friends both near and far-how are you today?

God is good and has been showing me areas I need to hand over to Him (and stop taking back). For those of you who have been praying for me (as some may have been thinking, that girl is going to get struck by Lightning if she keeps it up), I want to say thanks SO MUCH. God is removing the obstacles (fear) and opened a conversation with my Knight yesterday. He allowed me to lay out in the open, my fear that God has so graciously revealed to me this past Tuesday. In my great weakness, He is making me strong. He has more of my heart and I am going to set myself to stand my ground and not take back what I have given Him. I will only move forward, by His Grace and will never be the same again.

I encourage you all to ask Him for MORE-more of Him and less of you.

My Pastor has been sharing lately on the Kingdom of God and how it is a Kingdom of increase. God always has more for us, He wants us to seek the more, so His Kingdom can come here on earth, as indeed it IS in heaven. As I pray out over each of you, I will be praying,"More Lord." More faith, more wisdom, more health, more vision, more love, more opportunities, more ministry, more, more, more.....to your Glory God. We ask for fresh vision and fresh fire-come Holy Spirit and touch your children. Change us, that we may NEVER be the same again.

Beyond the MORE, is there something I can pray for you? Please drop me an email (see sidebar) or leave me a comment. I will add you to my prayer journal and seek God with you on your behalf. Our God is big, nothing is too small to bring Him and nothing, PRAISE GOD. is to Big!

Show us your heart Lord, and help us to be Your hands and Your feet. Strengthen us and help us to not walk in FEAR, but in the confidence that we grow in, as we realize that our Father is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords-and we are His children, whom He loves with an abundant, everlasting, HUGE, Gigantic LOVE.

2 Chronicles 6:40"Now, O my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer {offered} in this place.

Thank you for this. We signed up today to go on a mission trip to Zambia in July to work in an orphanage. We are hungry to do the work of our Lord, but the enormity of the cost of this trip has me wondering how it will all get paid for, particularly with a husband in seminary. But our God owns the cattle on a thousand hills, He can surely produce $6,000 for two of His children. Thank you for reminding me that while this is too big for us, it surely is not for our Father.

Hi Kimmie,

I am asking for prayer for my husband. He is so far removed from the Lord right now. He isn't even going to church anymore. His heart is hardened. I still have yet to understand why he has turned his back on God. I am in counseling with our pastor and his wife and learning so much as I face this trial. My husband is also being very unkind towards me and the kids. It's hurtful. But we are learning how to do right even when everything is wrong. I know God's hand is in this and through Him we can be victorious! But please pray for strength and words of wisdom as we deal with our circumstances. I just know that if my husband turned around God is right there to walk with him again. Thank you!

Just called to say thanks for visiting!

I always find that one of the hardest things to do when you've handed something over to God is to not try and take it back!

Our theme for 2008 at our church is I WANT MORE.....of Him and all He has for me.

I needed this reminder, Kimmie. We attended our church's leadership retreat this weekend and that exact same GOD WANTS MORE FOR YOU is what really convicted me the most. And one of the men taught about how Jesus believes in US, something I don't think about very often.

I am praying for you my dear friend. I know you have been in a battle over things God has spoken to you. I have been praying that you would give it to God and let Him have His way because you KNOW He will have it anyway! I know He will take away that pain and fear and replace it with joy and COMPLETE trust in Him.

Beyond that, a little bird told me my dear friend is not well today. So I am praying you back into health right now! I'm so sorry that I haven't called to check on you, we had a very bad day yesterday, but we will talk soon.

Love you!
Hallie

Kimmie, we haven't heard from you for a couple of days? Are you battling a winter cold...or another kind of battle?

Hope to hear from you soon!
