Releasing the Kingdom of Heaven-part 2

I was sitting this morning, waiting for God to give me direction on what I should share with you, I had been asking Him for a clear direction. I was not sure if verbatim I should type out my conference notes for you, or if the Holy Spirit wanted me to take you in another route? What I learned from Steve Stewart is really moving and has me on my knees. I so want the same for you-I want you to be released to do the Father's work.

The Holy Spirit sent me to Ephesians 2 and as I read, I believe this is where I am to begin.

Ephesians 2:10

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Steve told us that :

The Father has a family,
The family has a business;
and that business is PEOPLE!

You and I, as believers, carry the Kingdom of God -we are 'CARRIERs'- however, 90% of 'us' aren't RELEASER's of His Kingdom. Steve said, 97% of 'us' never step out to ask, "May I pray for you? Do you have a need I can pray for ? " Asking releases His Kingdom. We were made for this (see the verse that God gave me this morning?)...we carry the Kingdom inside and need, need, NEED to let it out!

Steve also shared with us Isaiah 61- you know...

The Spirit of the Lord is on me;

BECAUSE he has anointed me to preach the good news to the poor (the needy).

He has SENT me to bind up the brokenhearted (the lost and hurting),

to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.....

to bestow (releasing by giving them that gift we carry!) on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes (mourning, sorrow),

the oil of gladness instead of mourning.

and a garment of praise

instead of despair.

They (those who have the need that God sends us too!) will be called oaks

of righteousness,

a planting of the Lord

for the display of His splendor.

Hmm, yup, let's ask God (and really seek Him on it)-to make us 'RELEASERS'-stick around, more to come. But, I want you to have some time to chew-ponder and SEEK! Come on back and I will share some more on how to Release the Kingdom of Heaven.

Kimmie- Thanks for sharing.
Would you please pray for me? I am struggling at work. Being a nursing home administrator I am faced with extremely hard situations daily and I'm getting burned out.

Wonderful words for us all to ponder... I love thinking about sharing His word and showing others His grace and mercy.

Great verse!

God bless-

Great thoughts. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to hearing more.

One thing I learned is to not only ask others "how can I pray for you?" or to say, "I'll pray for you.", but to do it right then - stop what you're doing and pray with them. This is such an encouragement to them, lets them know you really mean what you say and works as a reminder to me to continue praying for their need.

Great Word, Kimmie, and it goes right along with what I've been 'hearing'. :-)

Hi Kimmie, I took some nice church pics with you in mind when I was in Malta, I will probably be posting them sometime next week if you and the kids are interested. Bob.

Forgive my email... I seem to have found you again on my own. And I am glad to be back! You have lots more here for me to read and ponder and learn. I am ALWAYS so thankful to find a sister in Christ!

Blessings to you and all you do-
Amanda
