Rainy Monday

Time to dig out those games that have been gathering dust on the shelf. My Knight will be so happy, as he questions why in the world we have such a huge shelf full of games.

It's a cold rainy day here and we are making the best of it. I am blessed to have children who enjoy simplicity of quiet and togetherness. I've been told it isn't what is the norm in this world, my heart is full.

The spring plants are thirsty and the peas and lettuce I put in over the weekend are surely beginning to germinate with the cool drink from heaven.

How's your day?

Aw, looks like a great time was had by all! I remember sprawling on the floor with my sisters and playing board games, too. They are just so much fun. I´m glad your kids are able to experience that, too.

Well, it may be rainy there but it sure doesn't look dreary! Except maybe the dog. She looks sad.

Well Kimmie...we had a wonderful weekend full of sun and then the rain came back again yesterday ...but today so far the sun is back so I think I may work in the garden! My flower bed needs fresh mulch as the old has rotted and turned to dirt! Love the pics of the kiddos having fun....we have mancala and that big checker set too,,,,,although my bigger kids don't play that much anymore like that!
Hugs,
Robin

It is cool here too. Love it though because my stove has been running and I LOVE to stand there to pray. Have to find a new spot for the summer.

Those checkers look super fun.

We love to play games as a family! And my kids are older - 21, 19, and 17, but they love family time together. For which I am so thankful they want to hang out with us "old" people!
