Prayer Request Sunday

Hey friends-glorious Sunday to you!

Hope you came by to ask for prayer-how can I pray for you? Drop me a comment (or two ;-)
or an email and I'll be happy to cover you in prayer this week.
A bit of a praise report to share, as I was praying this past week the Holy Spirit showed me an answer to prayer, that I had been unaware of. On my sidebar is a little map (way, way down)...it lets me see where people are from that drop by-nothing exact, but it gives me a little window into seeing where God is using my life-our story. We get so excited here when a new little dot on the map appears, or grows!
A bunch of months back I had asked God to open up China to me. I hadn't seen any movement with the map in China, but the Holy Spirit reminded me about my new friend Sophia. You remember the family I met when going out into our church neighborhood with batteries. Well, Sophia is from China. Though meeting her has nothing to do with this ole' blog of mine, her life and community is all about her being Chinese. She has a dad still in China who is a non-believer, who now I can pray for!! God told me He is letting me touch China through her-I am excited and can't wait to see what He does. God is working in HUGE ways in Sophia's life, how blessed I am that God allowed me to be part of that working He had.
I wonder how many other things I have been unaware of as answers to prayer, makes me want to seek God harder. How about you?
2 Chronicles 6:40"Now, O my God, I pray, let Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayer {offered} in this place.

I can't wait to see how the Lord uses your prayers for China and in Sophia's life! I always love to hear how God is speaking to you, sister!!!

Thanks for sharing and stirring us!!! : )

I would love to ask you to add Micah to your prayers for a few months, actually. We got his blood work back, but b/c of his fetal hemoglobin, they will not be able to tell us anything for several months (when the fetal hemoglobin is gone). We will get his blood retested at 4 months.

thanks so much for praying, sister!!

and we continue to pray for the little one God has for your family!!!
