A word for someone

I am going to share this, in hopes that it will speak to someones heart and life.
It's not about me, I have to move past the fear, so I can give you the word God has for you.

Why am I here?

God loves you, He hasn't forgotten you or forsaken you. Whether your womb is empty or full, He desires your heart and your life. Your journey may be long, but you will grow in faith as you learn to fully trust Him. Refuse the fear, move forward in faith. It is time to recover from the life you see, the one you see as 'full of setbacks'. It is time to allow God to lead your life, stop setting your own agenda. You have heard Him say follow me, do it. You can't follow Him if you continue to take the reigns of your life. Surrender all of you to Him, don't live with looking back at 'what if' or
if only.' Today is the day and if you quiet your heart, you WILL hear the voice of the Lord. He is saying, "Come."

Psalm 139:13-14
The New Living Translation

You made all of the delicate inner parts of my body

and knit me together in my mothers womb.

Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!

Your workmanship is marvelous,

How well I know it.

So sorry to hear about Guatamela shutting it's doors. I have another friend still hoping to bring home a son, her fifth adopted child.

This word was not meant specifically for me, but it contains much encouragement and truth for me, nonetheless.

Thank you for facing your fear.

I don't know you, I only know your blog, which I look at occasionally. I don't even remember how I found your blog, but, I have always praised God for your example. I truly believe God gave you that for me. I know it is within His power to speak to me through a complete stranger. I have been fighting His will. My husband has been offered a job that will take us out of the "big city" to a remote dirty little town for $18,000 a year. My husband sees what God is going to do, and all I have been focusing on is what we will leave behind. I have had in my head this idea of what life "should" be like, and I want to take control. I have been afraid to let God have control. What you wrote is the exact thing I have been struggling with. Thank you for writing that. God has spoken to me and I feel peace in giving him control. Thank you for demonstrating obedience to a complete stranger.

I, too, needed to hear this tonight. God has been trying for MANY years to teach me this. I have let go many times, only to end up doing it my way once again. He used infertility and adoption to teach me this lesson and, while I learned a big part of it, I still feel that I am struggling the last little bit of my TOTAL surrender.

Thanks for being obedient and sharing this! You have blessed me more than you can ever know!

Hi Kimmie. I am a faithful reader, and you prayed for me (actually, my ex-husband) months ago on a Prayer Request Sunday. Just wanted to say that what you wrote spoke from God's heart to mine. I am a single mom of two young boys, facing a very uncertain future filled specifically with working full-time outside the home, which I did not and still do not want to do. But that is what is ahead of me and I need to walk forward in obedience to provide for my family, and in confidence that God's plans for me are always what is best for me. Thank you for the reminder especially to stop and listen for His voice. The voice that calms all of my fears... Camee
