Hairstyle madness subtitled-high maintenance girls

I finally got the pictures off my camera card-all 400 of them. You see in August we were busy, very busy with preparing for our parts in two Shakespearean productions; King Lear and Midsummer Nights Dream. I have so many great shots of my 6. The wee ones were invited this year to join in the fun-let me tell you King Bonkie (5) was beside himself with glee with being the changeling boy in Midsummer Nights Dream. He was thrilled to be carried about and fought over.
But what I share with you today is the serious high maintenance prep that we succumbed to in order to be ready for the stage. Well, the backyard, as this is Backyard Shakespeare after all.

I was running out of hands, so King Meemer (6) offered to help. He did a fine job as hairstyling assistant, actually King Bonkie was bumming that I wouldn't let him have a go at it. Somehow I imagined smoke and screaming. The girls looked cute, for all of a half hour, before most of those bouncing locks restraightened themselves. Oh, how glad I am to not have to take these impliments of torture tools out more than every few years. More pictures to come!

Hi Kimmie :) They are just sooo beautiful! Do I post that every time? Oh well, I aging and I repeat myself - lol!

Sunshine and those cheeks and that nose! Giggles and those eyes! Meemer and that hair tousled over his face!

What a joy :) Love to you, Q

What adorable pictures. I am not really a girly girl but my daughter definitely is. I have had to figure out how to work all these fancy contraptions just tokeep her happy. I'm having a blast!!!

Such cuties you have, Kimmie.

Thank you for your comment and your prayers. I should have asked you to pray for our situation. My mind and heart have been so wrapped up in it lately. Thank you for being will to stand in prayer for our family. We believe that God is able to move this mountain before us (and even to help us to cross it in joy and victory!). All praise goes to Him.

Blessings,
Jenny

I forgot to ask, any word concerning a referral for you? How are you doing in the extended wait? Praying for God to move mightily in both of our families.

Hi Kimmie, What you say about having all those photo's to see to just makes you think how lucky we are today and how much of what we have is now taken for granted. Only a few short years ago 400 photographs would almost have been a burden both in terms of expense and storage, now we can capture and save all those smiling faces without even giving it a second thought. Perhaps you and yours might like to check out this new identity that I'm about to sign in with. Rob.
