Happy 14th Birthday!

Princess Sparky (Fazzdike) waiting for her recital practice.

I apologize profusely that these ice-skating pictures are fuzzy...but I can only shoot through the safety plastic...makes for lousy photos. But you will get the gist.

Today is Fazzdike's birthday. She was treated to breakfast out with her Papa and mum, she ate half of the enormous strawberry french toast supreme...and carted the rest home to savor as a snack. We plan to head out to the library to gather some new books for our studies, later me mum and Grampie plan to stop by to say happy birthday to our girl.

She has asked for Chinese Pork Fried rice for dinner, with crisp fried noodles....and to close out the day we will eat Fazz's favorite cake (carrot) topped with a yummy homemade cream cheese frosting. (frosting ingredients, 1 block of cream cheese, a few tablespoons of soft butter, 2 tablespoons of cream, tsp. of real vanilla extract, and half a cup of light brown sugar-incredibly yummy).

Our beautiful Hungarian daughter....we love you birthday girl!

Happy birthday Princess Sparky!! Glad you could have a good day!
That icing recipe sounds delicious. I've only made it with cream cheese & icing sugar before - will have to try your recipe!!

Happy Birthday! Fourteen. That was a tough year for me, hopefully it goes better for your daughter. :D

Carrot cake with Cream Cheese Icing is my dad`s staple birthday cake, too. We had it every year growing up. Mmmmm. Have a piece for me!

A belated happy birthday to your beautiful daughter. Looks like ice skating was fun. And, isn't it fun to give them their special treats they love on their special day?
