Prayer Request Sunday

Welcome to Prayer Request Sunday

Have you come by to leave a prayer request? God put Prayer Request Sunday on my heart last year, since then I have had the privilege to pray with so many of you. Many of you have told me that God heard and you have seen Him answer that area in your life. Yipee! Build our faith Lord, move us all to a new level!

We live in such a busy world, one where sometimes a whole day zips by without really having time to stop and give our burdens over to the Lord. Those burdens become so heavy when we carry them alone. I'd love to stand with you believing God to come into your life with His amazing Power.

Thanks, to those of you who committed to praying for me (as I began making the doll God put on my heart-in answer to "What would you have me do for you Lord, now?") I found the materials, started doll #1 , she is looking pretty good, but I think she is a wee too BIG.
She will be a good tangible reminder to what God is asking ME to do in James 1:27. (though I hope He calls me to another adoption too!)

Debrah has come beside me and offered to create a website for the 'traveling orphan doll!" The website will be her journal, when she arrives at her destination. The website will allow for all of us to read what God's Spirit is doing, as the doll makes her way through the world. Debrah and I are pretty excited!
I need to hear from God as to what He wants to call this website/ministry. Debrah needs prayer as she seeks to allow God to use her in its creation. We know that God will lead, as this is so much bigger than we ever could have ever concocted.
Bless each of you sweet friends and May God give you fresh vision for your lives this week, as you spend time with Him.

Zechariah 4:6
It is not by force nor by strength, but by my Spirit, says the LORD Almighty.

I am excited about your doll, and so glad your family is doing so well. Please pray for someone named "kinsey" in the hospital. Please pray we will get to sign our adoption agreement soon, that our workers will get focused and organized and can pull this together soon. And that we can get a court date soon. For the former fosterparents who are having a very hard time with her being adopted by us and not them, causing alot of conflict.

Thank you so much for praying this past week. Our agency emailed us on Friday saying they had received our authenticated dossier from Washington! (days before I expected it to be there!) God heard our prayers!

Now I would love it if you could pray for us in the waiting for our referral. We know that God has already ordained exactly which child is ours; we just have to be patient and wait on Him to reveal it. Thanks so much!

And I will still be praying about your doll ministry!

First things first... I love all of this talk between you and God and this doll ministry that is evolving. I can't wait to see your first doll and read about how this all comes together. It all sounds very exciting. :)

Second, I would like to ask you for prayer... we are moving FAR this week. It's going to be hard on our families. My mother in particular is having a hard time with the fact that we are leaving.. and the grandkids will be so far away. If you could please pray for our travels.. my husband will be driving the moving truck and I will be driving the van with our 3 kids. It's a 24 hour drive. Did I mention we have 3 kids? For 24 hours? In a van?

Thanks Kimmie! We hope to have internet access again soon. I can't wait to see what you have done with the doll by the time I come back online. :) (no pressure!)

Hi Kimmie,
Thinking of you lately! Your passion is so energizing! I thank God for you and your prayers. We are getting along nicely, setting boundaries and parenting as we should. It's different with older adopted children - I don't want to 'feel bad' for them. In fact I want to write a book or do a seminar or educate people somehow on bringing up their adopted children - someday in the future -
PEACE TO YOU AND YOURS!
thank you for your encouragement when I felt like I was drowning.
Maria
