When everything seems against you...

As I was looking through pictures, I came across this in one of my files. As I passed it the Holy Spirit whispered that someone needed encouragement. As He spoke to my heart, I heard that we are just like this wee frog that Fozzdike is holding. However, we may be unaware that God has His Mighty Hand wrapped lovingly around us.
Sometimes things suddenly change, life becomes difficult, everything seems to loom against you, how good it is to know that God is holding us, if we are His. Get your heart and mind around it, our enemy would want us to think that He has forgotten us, that somehow we are quite alone in the midst of our situations.
How very untrue. God wants to remind you that He is holding you tight. He will carry you through, so gently and lovingly that you might now even be aware of His Presence.
Today, He just wants to remind you how much He loves you.
Ponder it and envision yourself in the palm of His Hand, take comfort ...and know that YOU are not alone...ever.

For me too, thank you sweet one. And I love your Amy Carmichael quote ... my favorite is

"Give me the love that leads the way,
the faith that nothing can dismay,
the hope no dissappointments tire,
the passion that will burn like a fire,
let me not sink to be a clod;
Make my thy fuel, Flame of God!"

Rejoicing in the rain,
Sarah Dawn

I definitely need that during this season of my life, Kimmie, as a daily reminder. Thank you for listening to that whisper, and for responding. I am a visual person, and that photo really puts it into perspective for me. And coupled with those verses really drives it home. I am loved. He is with me and He holds me safely. I will choose to believe what I know to be true from His Word, not what I feel.
Thank you, Kimmie; I am daily refreshed and inspired by you.
