From my heart

* Princess Mercy deep in thought*

Things I am *deep in thought* about~

  • adoption: God's heart for October

  • whether to rewallpaper the bathroom or to paint it
  • why I can never find time to sew

  • how I can simplify our homeschool year
  • how much *school* do I want to do this year-versus how much Spirit led homeschool

  • wanting to entertain more-wondering how?
  • wanting to *learn* to cook...wondering if I should start a regular blog post about it?

  • wondering what soap I should make out in the barn

We have so much in common! I am so blessed to have you to walk through the adoption process(es) with us! :)

My friend Christina Cokenour told me about your blog, and I have checked it out a time or two. I am glad you said hello! :) Now I don't have to feel like a blogstalker! lol

Sweet one, praying some of the same things (except the soap in the barn :) But I too am deciding how much "school" I will do this year, making sure my boys have time to be led by the HOly Spirit, and learn to minister as well.

And my vote ... type the posts in your adventures in cooking to give me some great ideas as well (as I haven't cooked in the US for 5 years)

Blessings,
Sarah Dawn

Hmmm, I, too, am wondering why I can never find time to sew. I'm also pondering about changes for our homeschool year ahead but the end of the month is coming up so quickly I'm afraid I won't have it thought through enough yet. And my husband would love to have us do more hospitality in our home, but how? and when? And I'm ALWAYS wanting to be a better cook...

Good thing you keep my thinking! LOL!

Blessings,
Tammy ~@~

lavendar vanilla soap

basil soap

rose water soap

mmmmmm, I can almost smell it...

I love your ponderings... makes me ponder too... I wonder how to get the clock to slow down or how to need less sleep so I can do all the things I want to do, like days spent relaxing and visiting (skipping house chores)

Hey Kimmie, you entertain me everytime you do a blog post so the entertainment question is easy - write MORE! LOL!

Well, if you decide to tackle the bathroom wallpaper/painint project, maybe that will get me off my duff to do ours as well.

If you see the movie Julie and Julia it WILL inspire you to learn study cooking. And to wear hats too probably.

I'm aiming at entertaining at brunches after church...make up the french toast batter and soak bread ahead of time, pre cook meat side, fruit etc. so we can invite people after church ahead of time and add others spontaneously as well. Sure is easier than doing it in the evening when kids are involved.

I think you should make soap and then have a soap GIVEAWAY and then enter *my* name one hundred times. ;)

(((love you!)))
