Prayer Request Sunday

Can I pray for you? Please leave a comment or send me an email .
Some Word to chew on:
Unless you are faithful in small matters, you won't be faithful in large ones. If you cheat even a little, you won't be honest in greater responsibilities. And if you are untrustworthy with worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches of heaven? And if you are not faithful with other peoples money, why should you be trusted with money of your own?
Luke 16:10-12
and from Brother Lawrence...
"When we are faithful to keep ourselves in His Holy Presence, it begets us in a holy freedom.

Hey Kimmie! How are you? I think of you often. I can't wait to see pictures of your newest family member. :) Praying her home.

Hey, I was wanting to ask you to pray for us. We are going to be looking for a new home church again. The one we are at now just isn't working for us. We want to be a part of a church so badly but we feel like we just aren't fitting in. We are a Dave Ramsey following, homeschooling, hippy kinda family... and apparently it is hard to find someone else like us out there. :) So if you could please keep us in your prayers as we begin church hopping once again. And pray that as we hop we can stay away from all the flu bugs going around. Thanks Kimmie!

Hi Kimmie,
How is the process going towards the adoption? I am praying for you!!
If you would like to pray for me, the big thing at the moment is for settlement to go smoothly next Monday (9th November) on our new home. We are selling, moving out, cleaning, and settling on the new one all in one day!! And I'm doing it kinda alone with 3 kids while Stu goes to work (he can't get the day off)! :( So I would LOVE your prayers. :) Thank you friend,
Saminda xo

Hi Valerie;

Thanks for the prayer...we covet it for sure!! thanks so much.

I'd be happy to join you in that...I remember a few years back we thought we needed to find a better fit. Our hearts were set on beginning to look, but then God sent John Paul Jackson (a prophetic man) and though he didn't know us from Adam, he spoke into our lives with great accuracy.(and hey, this was a first too ...as I didn't grow up where such things happened.) The final thing he said, was that we were to be a testimony to *this* body of Believers. We heard and stayed put.

I don't know if there is a completely perfect fit anywhere, as we are all so imperfect. I will hold you up, as perhaps God has change in store for you. Please don't take my story the wrong way, just sharing it, because it caught us by total surprise...but God is in the details of our lives and of where we worship Him. And by the way, I am probably the only cloth diapering, baby wearing mama at my church...you can only go so far from your roots;-)

Dear Saminda;

Thank you for praying for our adoption.

I'd love to pray for you. Can't wait to hear the wonderful things God does through your *mama* body. You go girl and let the HOly Spirit fill you with His supernatural strength and abilities for your big day.

Yeah God, please let me know how it goes!

Hi Kimmie!

I'm so excited about your newest family member getting ready to join all of you. Continuing to pray for her and you all as well.

Would you please pray for my 83yo grandmother? We call her Nani. She is a wonderful, godly women and a great example for our family, but her health has been deteriorating more rapidly since May. She cannot be left alone, and family members are getting weary of the 24/7 care demands but lovingly continue everyday. We have been asking God to either perform a miracle to strengthen/heal her physically or to gently call her home.

His Servant,
Cari

Kimmie, thanks! Didn't take any of that the wrong way at all. I know there isn't a perfect church. Our church in PA wasn't perfect, there were a number of things we would have liked to see go different but we felt at home there. We just need to find a place where the people are real and where we feel accepted. Finding another baby wearing, homeschooling Mama would be GREAT but if we simply find people that are great people - and are real w/ us, then that is great too.

Thanks for praying with us :) And thanks for saying how cute our new baby is too. I never tire of hearing that ;)

Hi Kimmie,

I "found" you through Kate McRae's CB site today, and I've read your posts from the last few months. It was exactly what the Lord knew I needed today.
Your heart for Him, your husband and your precious children encouraged mine. I do pray that the Lord allows your Princess Sweetness to come home very soon through His abundant provision and that He grants you His supernatural peace and joy in the meantime.

My prayer request is this - after 9 years of marriage to my best friend, we are facing the reality that we need to follow God's lead and close the door on trying for biological children. We are in unison on this fact, although it is very hard for both of us.

My heart, though, has "caught" the adoption desire, while my husband's has not. I so need God's comfort and strength as I cling to Him and love my sweet Todd in the unknown. I want with all my heart to want what God wants for us, and at this point, that does not include children.

I need to go and play the "Glad Game" in a minute (thank you for the idea), as this has been a very tough weekend.

Much love to you and your family - so thankful that we are sisters in Christ.

- Julie
