My New Bible Study!

I am so excited...
Why??
Well, because my new Bible study is starting on Thursday. I dug out a new study notebook (it was in a reduce pile at Targ*t for 37 cents!),because I don't like to write in our actually book. I like to ramble with my answers I guess. My notebook gives me extra space to look up things in Greek or Hebrew-deeper in the Word to discover new truth...LOVE THAT!
God's Word is so full of wisdom,
how I love to spend time searching and pondering it in my heart.

My girlfriend/Bible study leader Sherry,
actually wrote this study we will be doing...good stuff!

Here is our first page questions for this week.

Opening up God's Word...
can't wait to see what He shows me in chapter one of Acts.
Honestly Acts is one of my favorite books of the Bible. Why? Because within its pages you find Stephen, who is my favorite besides Jesus Himself. Every time I read the few verses that are tucked away on Stephen I find tears rolling down my face. Tears of joy, tears of wonder, tears of hope, tears of faith, tears of desire, tears of pure holy passion...

If you're looking for something to read in the Word...you are welcome to jump in to Acts with us.

Acts is a picture of what God's people are supposed to look like...it is a visual of His Church. And if you don't know much about the Holy Spirit, it is a wonderful place to meet Him in all of His fullness. Can't wait to see what God is going to do between now and May when we finish.

I am also hoping my girlfriend Sarah is going to come. Sarah if you are reading this...please come, you will LOVE IT.

Hi Kimmie :) Praying with you as you begin this new study. Stephen is one of my very favorites, too. I am so blown away by his heart, his knowing, his courage - essentially the way he understood.

Love that sassy-cute-new notebook! Love, Q

OH KIMMIE! You are so good to me! Thanks for letting me tag virtually along to your bible study - I know it won't be the same as actually being there, but it will give me focus....

I love love LOVE Acts...so challenging. I so believe the things that took place in Acts should be "commonplace" today, you know? Jesus said we would do greater things than these..what a commission. I love how Acts always stirs my heart up to ask and believe God for more. :)

What a great book to study. Our ladies bible study is going to be doing the Psalms & that should be wonderful.
May God bless & teach you more as you study His words.
How do you look up the greek/hebrew? I would love to go back to the original.
God bless
Renata :)
