Prayer Request Sunday

Welcome to Prayer Request Sunday!

Would you like prayer? If you let me (us) know how to pray, I'd be happy to cover you this week. Hope all is well with you in this groovy New Year.

We took down the tree a few minutes ago and plunked it out on the deck to let the birds enjoy for the next month or so. I think I will let the kids make a few strings of popcorn to let our little winged friends feast on too. A few slices of orange, if I can pry them out of the baby's hand, will be hung up as well. I can't imagine what it must be like to have to find your food in the winter. How thankful I am that He has provided us with enough to share. Hope you feel the same.

Have a wonderful week...hope we get to chat! I have some exciting news about fundraising to share too!

sad to see the season go... we usually plunk our tree in a pile of snow (if there is any) for as long as it'll stay - until it gets recycled.
Happy New Year friend!

I could really, really use prayer. So very discouraged about our adoption. Just take a look at the time line on my adoption blog and it says it all.

Oh, Kimmie! Yes, I could use prayer... and my family could. If you've not read the blog post I wrote today, please do and join with us in prayer for this journey. I am thrilled! Pray for God's continued provision (financially especially... this is one year's living costs for a family of 6 plus Dad's tuition and books...).

I am so glad to "know" you. It is a real blessing. Thanks for your prayers, they truly mean a lot!

Ooo yay, yay, fundraising news! :) I look forward to hearing that. :)

Prayer... yes. Specifically this week, for a friend named Kate - all I'll say is she is terribly lonely, sad, lost, alone, not of faith, but a beautiful, beautiful girl. A new friend, a kindred spirit, needing true friendship, guidance, HIM, and really - a life partner after losing her fiance in 2008 - and just not getting 'over' him. Thank you for praying ,she truly is a special girl! xoxo
