Trouble at our House...prayer!

AS you know, we are believing God at our house.  We still have great financial need for our adoption...last night a new situation arose.  There was smoke, and a furnace that seems to have given up the ghost.  This fall we were told she was on the way out.  But as the new furnace would cost $9,000. we opted to hold off.

We have a call into the furnace repair people, my Knight stayed up all night keeping the fireplace going in hopes to keep the house warm.  So far it is still comfortable inside, but I have to tell you we are in the midst of a snowstorm, expecting 7-9 inches today.

Would you pray and ask God to provide for this.  A definite need here at our house and you know the money is desperately needed to bring our daughter home from Ethiopia in a few short weeks.  We do NOT want to delay her adoption, her coming home, us being able to hold her...we need God's help.  We can't put off buying a new furnace (if that is indeed what they tell us this morning)...

I will not be afraid, I willnotbeafraid, I will NOT be afraid...
God tells us to FEAR NOT (like 365 times in the Word, one for each day...I will claim today's fear not)

Philippians 4:19

And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus.

These are trying days, Kimmie! Thank you for your example of "fear not". I am still praying, and will add your furnace situation to my list! You are in our hearts!

Kimmie, I'm praying.

God showed up for us in the most amazing ways when we adopted our Dd from Russia . . . sometimes we were on our knees almost until the last minute praying the funds in, but they were ALWAYS there "in time". I have faith He can do it for you too--one way or the other, He will show Himself strong and then you and all your blog readers will be able to give Him more praise!

Praying for you!
And thank you for those verses. We are facing some serious changes that affects our whole family. I'm shaking and my faith is small, but I will definitely pray for you. It will be a great break from my fears as it is easier somehow to pray strongly for another's needs!

This helped me during a rough patch:
"But these things I plan won't happen right away. Slowly, steadily, surely, the time approaches when the vision will be fulfilled. If it seems slow, be patient! For it will surely take place. It will not be late by a single day." Habakkuk 2:3
