Prayer Request Sunday

Hi my sweet friends!  How are you?  Did you have a good week?  *For my American friends...are you ready for some spring?

We got slammed with some sickness here last week, not sure where it came from, but the Knight is still feeling a bit dizzy this morning.  It was so nice to have several warm days, we threw open the windows and spent many afternoons sitting on the deck with our reading books in tow.  Fresh air is good for the soul! How wonderful to hear the birds singing and fluttering over our heads, on their way to our bird feeders.

Could you use some prayer this week?  Please leave me a note and we take it together before our Father in heaven.  Remember, He loves to hear from you (even more than I do...and I LOVE to hear from all of you).  There is nothing too big or too small to lay before Him.

Things are going well here in regards to our adoption...thank you Jenny and Rebecca, for your sweet donations toward our adoption fund.  We are thankful for you joining us in the last leg of this particular race.  How rich I am in friendship!

Nehemiah 8:10

The joy of the Lord is your strength.

Psalm 126:3

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.

Dear Kimmie, Please pray for my father who is in very bad health. I suspect he has alzhiemers or some kind of dementia. He and my mom live in Texas and I live in Washington State. I am not able to help only long distance. My husband is handicapped so I can't leave him alone to go to them. My own health is not good due to being a diabetic. Please pray for strength for me to carry on here. Thank you for your prayers. I am thankful that I know my Lord and Saviour and I know he answers prayers.

I admire you and the Knight for sharing your love with the orphans you adopt. I read your blog and I am a follower. I don't comment alot but I am reading. You have a lovely family. God bless you. I pray that Simenesh is with you soon. Hugs, Karen

Praying for you Kimmie, and for Simenesh, and for those last funds to come in.

If you would like to pray for me.... I've been having recurring headaches again - they come from time to time - and I'm praying they'll go away. And also the wisdom to know what's causing them! :(
Thanks dear friend. xo

We are at a very crucial stage with finances. We have a property that we have been trying to sell for about six years. The sale of this property would see us well on our way to being debt-free. If we do not sell, we will have to sell our current home and move. I am newly expectant with Baby 6, and really trying to trust God in His timing. Thank you for caring enough to pray for strangers. I am blessed by your family more than you know. Blessings to your household.

Psalm 126:3 is the verse we put on our sons' adoption announcement. Just wanted to say I enjoy reading your blog and are praying for you all. We've been sick off and on for the past 4-6 weeks with various viruses so we're praying for a return to health.
