Adoption...

Today's thought from my heart:

Adoption isn't a destination, it is a life long journey into Love.

Adoption and my life-a story that is still being written:

...I share with you my family

...made by adoption

...some came as babies, some as preschoolers, some as adolescents, one as a teen...

...they came from 3 great nations:  America, Ethiopia and Hungary

7 of my 8 children once were orphans...

...each of them have been given to me by God

I stand here looking in for a minute and I am in awe of what God has done!

So wouldn't you like to adopt?

 Join the *Love journey*

...let me know if I can help you jump into adoption!

What a beautiful family! And I'm praying we CAN adopt our sweet little boy if it doesn't work out with his mom....of course, I'd love, for her sake, if she could keep him...but....we'll see what God has in store.

I would love to be able to adopt, and I'm hoping/praying that God will open the doors soon. You are such an encouragement and inspiration to me. I've never even met you, but I love you for the sister in Christ that you are to me.

*Love* your family! Great captures in photos! That first one is especially wonderful to me.

I wholeheartedly agree with every bit of what Leslie said above. I so appreciate how you share your experiences and your heart about God, adoption, and life in general.

My husband and I know that God is calling us to foster and possibly adopt, but we're unsure of when or how. While we are waiting for His confirmation and 'go ahead', I have been battling with doubts about my abilities as a parent and fear of failing the child (thoughts from the enemy, no doubt). If you could pray for us, I would be grateful.

Aww Kimmie your family is so beautiful!

It is amazing that someone that suffered with infertility now has a family who's size is competing with John & Kate's!

All of these different people, different races from different backgounds and even different countries came together to one big family and THAT is awesome.

You must count yourself so very blessed :)

Kimmie,

Thanks so much for commenting on my blog, I was excited to see your note! The story that God has written for your life is so beautiful... your beautiful children are visible proof of His Glory!

Your family is an inspiration to our family as we start this "journey of love". My husband is one of 10 children some of which are adopted, so we look forward to see how God will grow our family. Thanks for being honest and encouraging!

I would love to adopt, but my husband just isn't up for it yet. I even know WHO I want to adopt, a little boy who is so very perfect for our family. I hate that he has to wait and wait in the orphanage and want very badly to just go and get him and bring him home. :( Also, like Stephanie, I doubt my parenting abilities and sometimes wonder if I do a good enough job with the two I already have, much less adding another to the group.

You have such beautiful, beautiful children and I love that they are all so very much a family!
