Prayer Request Sunday

Can we pray together for something this week?
I'd love to join hearts and prayers with you...
leave me a comment
(or send me a private email)
and we can go together before the Lord.

My prayer request (in case anyone wants to pray for me?)  ...
we need to have God provide the finances to begin our adoption...
we need to believe God for $5,000 dollars to initiate paperwork with our agency.

Isaiah 58: 6-9
(The Message Bible)

"This is the kind of fast day I'm after:
to break the chains of injustice,
get rid of exploitation in the workplace,
   free the oppressed,
   cancel debts.
What I'm interested in seeing you do is:
sharing your food with the hungry,
inviting the homeless poor into your homes,
putting clothes on the shivering ill-clad,
being available to your own families.
Do this and the lights will turn on,
and your lives will turn around at once.
Your righteousness will pave your way.
The God of glory will secure your passage.
Then when you pray, God will answer.
You'll call out for help and I'll say,

'Here I am.

Standing here, believe God will answer our prayers!

Hi Kimmie, I have two things to pray for which I know sounds greedy. One is that your prayer is answered because I know how much good will become of it if it is and my other thing I pray for it for all my friends to be blessed with a positive with a attitude because that will make them and everyone around them feel good.

Kimmie, You have prayed for my family before, I think before we even left for the mission field. Now that we are here, I have another request.
We have been being spiritually attacked. Attack after attack, after attack. First we had a 500 dollar water bill, 800 dollars stolen from our account, a taxi accident, and major illnesses. THEN we found out that our Visas, that we had been told would expire after two years, were expiring this week.
It didn't stop there, but it is to detailed to be here. I say all this because what I am asking for is REST.
My family must meet with a Visa attorney next week, and I know that things will be okay. But since we must fly to a city quite a distance away, and stay for a week, we decided to make a last minute family trip out of it. Las minute as, we still don't have a place to stay and we leave tomorrow).
Will you, and your readers please pray that God will send us rest? Just a time for our souls to breathe His goodness?
Thank you.

PS, God has already answered our financial needs, and we have been assured that God has been doing miracles for us on the Visa front.

Could you please tell me which adoption agency you're going with and why? We've been searching for one!

Hi Tarynkay;

Well, if all goes according to our hearts, we will again sign on with Celebrate Children International...our hearts are leading us back to Ethiopia. First we need to come up with $5,000.

There is a link below on my sidebar to take you to their website.

Thank you for praying for our adoption last week. We found out we weren't chosen for the boy and I feel peace about it. But on Thursday, they called and said they want us to go to a committee decision fo a different six-year old boy. We're waiting for the larger packet of info to make sure we want to proceed. Please continue to pray for us during this time--thanks! I am beilieving with you for God's provision. Also will you pray that God will provide the $2000 my daughter still needs to go to Youth with a Mission in April.

Thanks for the information! We are in prayer about whether to adopt domestically or internationally. I am praying that your next adoption is expedient and peaceful!
