Prayer Request Sunday

Believe in the gifts and anointing God
has placed in your life,
which will cause you to reach your destiny.

 Personally I am believing this.

We have had a roller coaster kind of week with our current call to adoption,
but I am keeping my eyes on Him
and setting my path on praise and worship (of Him).

Certainly, CERTAINLY, He will make my path straight.

Can I pray for you this week?

Want to meditate on this with me this week?

Psalm 111
(The Message Bible)

Hallelujah! I give thanks to God with everything I've got—
Wherever good people gather, and in the congregation.
God's works are so great, worth
   A lifetime of study—endless enjoyment!
   Splendor and beauty mark his craft;
   His generosity never gives out.
   His miracles are his memorial—
This God of Grace, this God of Love.
He gave food to those who fear him,
He remembered to keep his ancient promise.
He proved to his people that he could do what he said:
Hand them the nations on a platter—a gift!
   He manufactures truth and justice;
All his products are guaranteed to last—
   Never out-of-date, never obsolete, rust-proof.
All that he makes and does is honest and true:
He paid the ransom for his people,
He ordered his Covenant kept forever.
He's so personal and holy, worthy of our respect.
The good life begins in the fear of God
Do that and you'll know the blessing of God.
   His Hallelujah lasts forever!

Kimmie,

I would appreciate prayer for my husband and I. It is my heart's desire to once again be in our own home. I am grateful that my dad has provided a roof over our heads for the last year. More and more I am itching to get out. I don't see the way out financially, but all things are possible with my Father.

Thank you.

Thanks for sharing the Psalm in The Message translation. Beautiful. Our God is an awesome God! I'll be praying for you. Remember, he's always of everything, even roller coaster rides!

I am in the beginning of preparing for a mission trip to Africa. My husband is very encouraging and I know God will provide. I am asking though for prayer because my heart already aches to adopt a little one from the orphanage and we haven't yet gone. My husband is not wanting to adopt again. I am praying for God's guidance and praying He will burden my husbands heart for these children. I want to serve God, but I can see already how satan can use this to create strife. God has always united our hearts when it is His time. I am trusting in His plan.

oh funny my word verification is unifyb I know God will unify our hearts. :)

Hi Kimmie,

Would love prayer for our future. Husband is frustrated with his job- the low pay and lack of advancement opportunities. It is below his skills, but the only job he could find. I also ask for prayer that God would keep evil away from him. He works in an office with 30 women and no other men. I'm not sure I trust all of the women. I do trust my husband, but I pray every day for him to keep his eyes on Christ and not to be drawn in by the world. I am signing this anonymous because I wouldn't want my husband or family members to know I wrote this. I guess I need prayer too that I can give my husband to the Lord and put my complete trust in Him.

I would appreciate prayer for our health. We've all been sick and the baby and I and my husband are still dealing with it. Also, pray for our business and God's direction during this time when everything just seems stuck where it is. Pray that we could learn to trust Him more and look to Him for direction.

Kimmie,

I wanted to share with you that my husband received a two-dollar raise this week. The company officially made him full-time, as well. He had been working full-time hours, but there was no guarantee of that many hours. Praise the Lord!! It still won't be easy, but it helps.
