Prayer Request Sunday (a little early)

Hi Friends!
 Welcome to Prayer Request Sunday!

Have you popped in for prayer?

I decided to post a wee bit early, as Sundays have turned into a busy day...we do morning church with our church and then pop home for a quick bite for lunch. We then head out to our Ethiopian Church for a few hours of the afternoon.  It is a busy day, but one filled with joy for all of us.

Time does seem to fly these past few months.  God has blessed us with all sorts of lovely surprises.  This morning I walked a 5k with a girlfriend from church.  The afternoon was spent running errands with two of my friends from church. Bless friends who will take you grocery shopping to the food warehouse I frequent (and drive), then take you in search of decent t-shirts (meaning not the poor quality ones that I keep buying at Target!)  My family managed smashingly without me and I came home to a sparkly clean house, with a roaring fire in the fireplace- food in stock and t-shirts at a great price from the mall that I rarely enter! Friends are lovely...especially when they hear your cries and jump to make it happen. Blessed indeed!

I am ready and willing to join you in whatever is on your heart.
If you send me a note, or leave me a comment-
we can get busy lifting your prayers to our Heavenly Father.

Anything new in your end of the world you'd like to share today?

Kimmie, I would love to have your prayers for restored health. I haven't been sick in well over 10 years (praise the Lord!!), but I came down with strep throat this morning. Ugh, I feel like I've been run over by a mac truck with the fever, body aches, chills and throat so sore I just want to cry from the pain. Please join me in praying for a quick recovery, and also, more importantly, that no one else in the house gets sick. Thank you so much! Blessings, Leslie

Kimmie, thanks for asking. Our hearts are breaking for a Christian man, new believer, who has been falsley accused of a crime he didn't commit. The sentence is 2-60 years in jail. We are praying the truth be found, the truth be told and the truth be believed. Thank you so much for praying. I always appreciate your sweet encouragement.

I ASK THE DEAR LORD TO HAVE MERCY ON ALL WHO ARE SUFFERING IN LACK OR WITHOUT A LOVED ONE NEAR. I ASK MERCIFUL GOD TO HEAL ME SO I CAN WALK AND FUNCTION NORMALLY AGAIN. I WAS STRUCK DOWN 1/11/2010. I AM DOING THE BEST I CAN. I GET DEPRESSED AND LONELY BUT NEVER FORGET TO PRAY AD GIVE THANKS FOR THE BEAUTY AROUND ME. PLEASE MERCIFUL GOD TAKE THE PAIN AWAY AND REPLACE EACH NEGATIVE THOUGHT WITH A SMILE. SO MANY ARE WORSE OFF I KNOW AND I WILL NEVER AGAIN TAKE MY HEALTH FOR GRANTED. IT IS SO PRECIOUS. PLEASE ATTEND TO OUR SITUATION AS IT IS WORRYING ME SO. PLEASE FORGIVE ME I DO NOT MEAN TO COMPLAIN. HELP THE CHILDREN TOO DEAR JESUS....SO MANY WITH SO LITTLE. THANK YOU THANK YOU
