1. In the video the man says that Muslims in the USA think of themselves as being Muslim first and American second. Or in other words, they aren't patriotic. I wonder how the thousands of Muslim Americans who died for America and are serving in the military feel about a comment like that?
2.The video insinuates that Muslims who are against the Israeli regime and human rights abuses are bigoted towards Jews, that they hate Jews. Completely ridiculous characterization and demonization of Muslims. Especially considering the fact that Islamic faith actually holds the "people of the book" in high esteem.
3. "Culture jihad"? This would have made me laugh out loud if it wasn't so offensive. Utterly xenophobic concept. The paranoid and hateful bigoted mindset of: "these people are out to get us". It is not only used against Muslims but other minority groups, including black people.
4. The man claims that Muslims are against liberty or freedom. 100% Ludicrous claim. And I love how he says Muslims are against monarchy and yet many Middle Eastern nations have monarchies...huh? LOL
5."In terrorism if somebody says 'we gonna take care of you', you better run"? Haha how ridiculous
6. It's also interesting how he assumed that the people who showed him basic courtesy or "Christian love" were all Christians. And that, along with a sudden supernatural epiphany, led him to denounce is Islamic faith....Sorry, not buying this story...
7. Finally, it's interesting how the program decided to reenact the man's story by using a much darker-skinned actor. Again, stereotyping Muslims as those violent dark skinned people who need to be saved. An educated person knows that Muslims come in all colours. Another part of this program that is tainted with subtle racism.
Look, you don't have to stereotype, demonize, and offend Muslims to know and love Jesus....because quite frankly, that isn't "Christian love".
I just had to post this to educate, not trying to be rude. Thanks.
Dear Anonymous... I am not sure how to respond to you other than I will pray for you and that God's mighty hand touches you in such a way that you, yourself, have a "supernatural epiphany" and cannot deny that our God can do any and ALL things :-)
p.s. why are you anonymous if you feel that you are so right in this? not being rude, just wondering.
I'm "anonymous" because I neither have a google account nor a blogger account, and this blog's owner allows for those who don't to post comments under "anonymous". It is definitely not an attempt to conceal my identity deliberately because I'm supposedly ashamed of what I wrote, quite the contrary.
I stand by what I wrote because I'm against racism, propaganda, ignorance, and xenophobia. I know many Christians and none would support that program's depiction of another faith.
Sorry, but I don't believe in *your* God, because that isn't the Christian God I know and admire.
I think in this video this man was sharing HIS view of what he was taught and how he was raised and what he was exposed to..it was HIS story, his testimony..It might not sit well with others but it was HIS experience...I hear often say nothing till you have walked a day in someones else shoes..well these where his shoes... they story of HIS conversion is beautiful to him for him and others beneifit from it..there will always be those that don;t like it but none the less it is what it is... his conversion from the muslim faith to the christian and for me personally as a believer in Christ the son of God its a beautiful thing

Oh my, what a powerful message! Brought tears to my eyes.
Wow, the video is so ridiculous and here's why:
