Courtship to ENGAGEMENT!

Yup, back in this picture these two were just courting.
JoJo called and asked my Knight if he could court our daughter last February 20th.

This February 20th, while my beautiful daughter was out visiting JoJo
(with his mum and two little sisters), he asked her to marry him.

(back up...
he called my Knight the week before and asked permission to ask our baby to marry him.)

AND

she said yes, through her tears.

Wedding is set for May 26th...this year.
A few weeks and we will be having our first WEDDING!!
crazy, yeah we know...

JoJo is serving in the Air Force and will be deployed in June.

A beautiful hand picked ring by my future son-in-love.
Golden, sparkly and perfect for the Princess!

Congratulations, Kimmie! What wonderful news :-) Don't let the time frame scare you.....my oldest daughter got engaged in February and married in May. It can be done beautifully in that amount of time. I'll be praying for you!

Blessings,
Tammy ~@~

How lovely! Congratulations to all of you. How exciting. I remember reading a little tidbit about the two of them courting. Now in a few short months they'll be married! Fun.

Oh congrats! Please let your Princess know that if she ever wants to talk with someone about the life of a military wife, I am more than happy to share.

Also, before they face deployment, there are some tools that can help her make it through, and the return... My sister was a war bride (married just before deployment), and that in itself is a whole different journey to navigate.

If you leave a comment on my blog, it has to be previewed to post. Leave an email. I won't publish it, but email you back.

Their anniversary is Dominic's birthday! Congrats to the two of them, I can't believe she's getting married, seems like she was just a little girl when I started to read your blog!

Oh Kimmie!!! How very exciting!!! Not only will you be getting a new son, but just think...grandbabies (I've heard they are just as much fun as your own babies)!!!
OK so don't show her this comment or it may scare her ;)
Please pass on my congratulations to them both & I am so very happy to see a lovely Christian couple! I hope the wedding preparations are going well for you all.

Think of you often ~ don't get to visit here as much as I would like to!
Blessings
Renata:)

Congratulations to all concerned. With all that's involved with a wedding I'm sure you will be even more rushed off your feet than usual Kimmie.
