Prayer Request Sunday PLUS (link to a great audio bible study!)

Would you like me to pray with you this week?  Leave me the details on what we are joining hearts on and we can get to it.

I love God's Word.
I love to read it, I love to think on it, I love to study it and I LOVE to teach it to my children-never mind the joy I get in passing it on to you.

 I have gone through
a time of hunger for more of God's Word and a longing to fill that place that desires the deep things of God.  Yesterday I found a place that will help me dive in deeper over the next few weeks (34 weeks for the study I chose).

Check it out:

and I am choosing to study the book of

They offer a slew of studies!

each week has a totally understandable (you don't need to be a brain surgeon to get it!) audio file (about 60 minutes worth, notes, illustration helps, along with teacher helps).  You can do it with a group or do it alone- there are so many studies to choose from, but as I long for deep and as I love the prophetic, thinking this is a great place to dive into currently.

I love the notes they offer in the Revelation book study, as it really helps you to get your mind/heart around what is being shared.  The notes link very closely to what is said, and are printable and can be put into a notebook as you push forward into the study. Of course the illustration helps are of interest too.

And
there is a promise to those who would venture into studying the book of Revelation
(the last of the 66 books given to us by God)...

 Rev. 1:3

Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

It will give us a system boost, so we can gain understanding and realize the time is short to share the good news of the gospel.  Jesus came to give us life and give it to the fullest.

Don't be shy, jump in too!

Prayer request Sunday! I'm getting accustomed to the joy of popping in to see what others need prayer for and asking for prayer when needed. I love this place of peace (your blog spot--your heart). I know you are praying for our adoption journey and know too that I also pray for you and yours.

I would ask for you to pray for more faith to grow in our hearts here...to give God the full confidence that He is worthy of...I would like to leave this earth with more faith than I ever thought possible. I pray that for all those I know and love too!

Hope your Sunday is sweet, Kimmie.

I'm so glad you asked, and this time I won't be shy to offer a request. We really need to sell two properties. We are trying to get out of debt so that we can put more money into ministries (potential for future adoption). One property has been on and off the market several times for about 7 years. The other is almost 1 year. We're getting quite frustrated about this, and are trying to trust God's timing. Wanting to be at peace as we wait. Bless you for caring enough to pray.

Randy's on a cross-country trip (truck driving) right now and we're about half way through. Pray for his safety and my sanity in this long stretch of parenting more-or-less alone. I'm quite thankful for cell phones and FB and email. :-) He should be home by Friday. He's never been gone this long before.
