What is the red building, because I LOVE it!?!? It looks so quaint, so serene. If that is part of your place then I am either jealous or I really want to come visit and stay at your retreat! :)Beautiful, Beautiful...your children are all so beautiful!!! Thanks for sharing the photos! btw, I am choosing to not be jealous! ;)
The red building is our barn-it was something I prayed for when we knew that God would be "moving us" to a larger home (for more adoptions). It is a little retreat...downstairs is a woodstove and my "soap shop" and upstairs is a retreat room. We have chairs, couch, a bed...my oldest daughter has been sleeping out there. Though it was built 10 years ago, by the first owner, it still smells like freshly cut pine.
God so loves to bless his children, my barn is so proof of his goodness!
Kimmie...ok now I am really, really fighting the temptation to be jealous! I so want a red barn...rather than be jealous, I am going to start praying for one of my own! We are actually in that same spot, wondering if we need to move to accomodate more adoptions.
My hearts desire is to live out loud, a life that reflects Jesus. Join me through word and picture
on this journey called my life. I am the Mama to 8 children, one homemade and 7 adopted, married to my handsome Knight and daily following hard after Jesus. Hope you will consider me your friend.

Hi Cindy...
She was a respite baby we had for a week while her foster parents (friends of ours) took a family vacation. We miss her~
