Prayer Request Sunday
Hi!
So glad you stopped by, today is a perfect day for a visit! Can I pray for you today? If you send me an email, or leave me a comment, I'll add you to my prayer journal. It would be my honor to stand with you believing God for your need.
As I went through last week, I really put on a spirit of thankfulness. Here are a few of the things that I stopped and thanked God for (well, beside the normal things I give thanks for):
- fresh air, as I raked out the gardens
- robins hopping around the yard
- vacuum cleaners...I have a Pet Dyson that my Knight blessed me with...instant gratification!
- my sweet pets
- my new camera lens that my Knight surprised me with for my Nikon D40 & a new camera bag, to house all of it in!
- the Goodwill (thrift shop)
- for sharing the love of God...remember when I went out with my church bringing batteries, to our church neighbors...well, the Chinese family I met and prayed with...well, the wife is coming to bible study with me! (Beth Moore -Stepping Up...a study through the Psalms of Ascent)!!!!
- for being able to walk in self-control when a friend says something hurtful
- for being able to comfort a sweet friend, as she faces the challenges of secondary infertility-there is comfort in sharing the same heartache.
- the bonfires we've had this week...though the pictures I took were in the wrong mode...so maybe next time I will capture them in down loadable format, sigh.
- our paperwork (dossier) that was proofread by our agency...and will be ready & notarized by our state officials-then we get that waiting list number! (background~ angels cheering!)

Kimmie, I came over to thank you for your prayers. I know they're working, because over the last few weeks I have been blessed with a sense of calm, and a patience that I had never seemed to have before. I know that God is working quietly in the background on our situation, and I am happy to trust the outcome to Him.
You are a wonderful person, and I am blessed to have 'met' you!
Please pray for my friend's baby girl born this last week. Her name is Esther Hope. She was born at 23 weeks gestation, 1 pound 10 ounces. She is strong, considering her stage of prematurity, however she and her family need TONS of prayers right now. She won't be released from the hospital until August, God willing. You can visit her at www.caringbridge.com "Estherhope"
Thank you so much for your prayers for this tiny little HUGE miracle!

Hi Kimmie- I too just stopped by to say thank you for your prayers. Our son, Kaden, has been home with us now for 2 weeks and doing wonderful. He is such a blessing to us and I still cannot believe God blessed us with this precious child. Amy
You are in my prayers dear sister in Christ. If you feel so led, please be in prayer for my friend Darlene who is in the hospital with a lung condition she has had since childhood.
Please pray for me Kimmie, sometimes I feel rather overwhelmed with my resposibilities
I feel very weak physically and heavy in my head and get panick attacks and feel i am doing everything wrong and measuring up.
Kimmie,
I'm actually requesting prayer for another blogger. I don't know her but I know the fear attached to having your baby in the hospital. Her blog is http://birthofamidwife.blogspot.com
Thank you. :)
