Making a difference

Ever feel like this photo?
A big rock and a wee rock. Perspectively speaking, I think if you look at this picture as life, we could say that 'we' are so small and everything else is so big. What difference can we make in this world? What chance do 'I' have at even making a splash? Or we could look at this as a Christian (Believer), and say, yes we are wee (weak), but if you could see my foundation (Jesus), you would know that my possibilities in this life are LIMITLESS.
Our limits are establish by us. As Christians we have the God of the Universe and His mighty Power available to us, as we submit our lives into His hands.
There have been times in my life that I have felt more like the first perspective. As I have walked out more of this life God has given me, and I have gotten further into the journey, well I am learning to take on the second perspective. I think the first spends more time as a navel gazer, and the second spends more time dazzled by the wonders of the Father's Love.
I imagine it's kind of like putting on shoes in the morning, which shoes are you going to choose?

I prayed for you this morning, my dear sister. How are you?

I like to think of myself as the small rock, surrounded and protected by the Big Rock, who cares about even the hair on my head!

(More to do with your picture, as I'm going through a time of re-discovering His wild LOVE for me - so it's often on my mind or nudged to my attention by the Holy Spirit.)

thank you for the sweet comment on our blog. yes, He is so good. would you join us in praying that siblings would be available? it is the desire of our hearts. our agency has never seen young sibs available from Kyrg, so it would completely be the Lord's doing.

Thanks for this post. Such an important reminder to lean on God's strength.
I am praying for your adoptions - that they will come at the right time, so you get the children God has planned for you!
Keep on smiling
Renata :)
