Do we have to give in to fall and the mentality that comes along with it? Has anyone ever thought to go against the grain and decided to hang on to summer beyond the normal length its given?
Want to start a club? Anyone with me, what should we call our little summer-addicted club?
I can let the summer weather go for a few months. Though I'd prefer to hang onto Fall until Spring, instead of heading for snow and frigid temps. Now the summer schedule? I'm all for that! Love the photos. Especially the last one. Priceless!
I have to admit, I`m a sucker for fall, myself. I`d love it to be autumn all year round! But, living in Guatemala we only get wet and dry, no real seasons. Sigh.
Love the pics of your kids enjoying one last blast, though! That King Bonkey is just so funny, he`s all boy with those bruises! :) Looks just like my two little rascals.
Our summers last until late Nov maybe Dec (our short winter is around Jan). So we summer for a LONG time! I can get out all the fall decorations and still have shorts/swimming season. Those of you with REAL seasons, I could send you some summer later if your interested!
Hi Kimmie! I'm still holding on too! I brought out a few Fall decorations but they kinda look out of place with my BEACH things...I'm just not ready to put those away just yet. It's getting a bit chilly here too but overall still very lovely! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Hugs, robin
I don't hsve a choice, here. It is cold and wet. If we played outside with our bathing suits on, the next stop just might be the hospital! But it's OK, I love fall. I'm always ready for any change of season.
Oh, I wish we could join you at the beach....that looked perfect! I have a confession. I LOVE summer and the freedom it gives me with my beautiful son to lazily pursue any and all of our hearts desires at any hour of the day. But as we were hiking around the other day in the woods it struck me how much I love fall too. The cooler tempts that allow the grass to turn green again, I love a light jacket and jeans....
I'm so glad that God has blessed us with beauty in each season! Although, winter, here in the midwest.....GROAN *wink* So how about a summer/fall club ;o)

I'm in! I despise winter, and fall is just too close to being winter.

Where do I sign up for the club?
Count me in...Kimmy!
So much fun. I am mourning the end of summer though it will be nice to have a little cooler weather.
I struggle with our extreme summer temperatures, yet is always sad when summer is over.

I thought I was ready for fall until I looked at your pictures! :)

You just have to share summer with us southern hemisphere dwellers! Finally it's starting to warm up a bit here!
