Riding her Pirate sister's pony
Princess Mercy is very fond of her new/0ld horse. She sits happily in the little basket that is fixed to his back. We say:
...feur*reus (= horse)
(eu is like the er in her, without the r) in Amharic to her.
(eu is like the er in her, without the r) in Amharic to her.
We are trying to learn a few new words in Amharic (one of the 3 main languages in Ethiopia)...my husband has a few clients who are Ethiopian and help us with saying them correctly. Honestly, they said we can call them day or night, and even gave us their phone number (and their siblings phone numbers...) Thanks for hooking us up God!
We also have a pocket phrasebook...called Ethiopian Amharic (a comprehensive dictionary-$8.99).
The learning never stops...you are so right Emily ;-)

I just love all these photos of your precious baby. She`s so darn adorable and the way she`s totally relaxing on the horse is so cute!
Do you have some photos of your other kids playing with her? I`d love to see some pics of how they are taking to their new sister. :D

Hi Kimmie
Thanks for visiting...we are doing wonderful and enjoying our Saturday rest time. Please pray...we are waiting to be matched in Ethiopia in the next few months. I'm not posting yet, because we want to suprise my parents. AND, we are praying about adding a 2nd child to the paperwork...an older 12-15yr old girl. Thanks for your prayers
Ohhh, it's so fun to scroll through the pictures! She's so precious, Kimmie! :-)
