All of us say cheese...
We needed a 'all of us' picture for our post-adoption update for Ethiopia. This is our second follow-up, three are required the first year (3 months, 6 months and 12 months). Then we send a once a year update with pictures every year until she is 18.
A little work, but the Ethiopian government (Ministry of Women's Affairs, MOWA) really does care about their children and wants to know how they are doing. We take joy in sharing God's goodness in our lives. And you know how we love to take pictures of her (14 are required this report...plus one of us I think).
We're getting better at it! Seriously thanking God for digital cameras and tripods. Oh, how I remember the days of my manual Nikon and a whole roll of 36 pictures with hopes of a good shot. It has gotten a bit more complicated as we have added one more smiling face...and more opportunities to *blink.*

I LOVE them! One of these days, I suppose I should figure out my timer on our camera...
Ohhhh, I have soooo been there and done that and KNOW how difficult it is to get just one picture where everyone is looking and smiling AT the camera! LOL! The outtakes tend to be the funniest collection, don't they? :-)

So neat to see the whole family together. I know it´s hard (we have troubles even with just the four of us!) but so worth it! These pictures are going to seem simple when they are all grown up and you`re trying to snap shots of your kids and their spouses and ALL the grandkids, lol.

OH Kimmie. . .love the all of you photos. . .and I too recall taking pictures of us and the boys with a tripod. . .pretending to be having a good time while they were being silly and I was saying. . ."you guys . ..be good".

Great pictures and what a great looking family! I agree about the digital cameras. I have many rolls of film with bad pictures. Don't know how we ever got a good shot back then!
