Things We Love: Sweet Goodness & Orphans
If given the opportunity she would have it always; if given the opportunity I would adopt all 143 million orphans.
Mercy thinks its sweet: I know the sweetness of adoption-daily I see the six beautiful children that God has blessed my Knight and I with through the wonder of adoption.
Won't you ask God if He has adoption for your family?
And if you have a minute...check out the orphan doll website...this week they are moving to visit a new family!

If only they'd make it easier. We never thought we'd be stuck on one adoption for three years!
Hi! I found your site through Anna's blog. I just wanted to say thanks, and I've spent the last little while crying and praying over your blog. I think you're a kindred spirit.
When my husband and I were engaged we knew we were called to have at least a few kids and adopt at least a few...and your blog has stirred that up in my heart again. We just had our first little boy a month ago and while I'm just getting used to being a mom, the Lord is breaking my heart again for the orphans. I love what you are doing and I'm going to pray, talk to my husband, and ask God what we can do to help you bring your daughter home.
I'm so encouraged by what you're doing and will be praying that every last penny comes in quickly. Many blessings of Jesus over you and your family!

My never married daughter and I talked about how how she would love to adopt older kids...and are talking with God about that.
I've also been thinking a lot the "fost-out" kids...the kids who never got adopted and at age 18 suddenly are just out of the system with no one to call Mom or Dad. Lots of them enter the military. It breaks my heart to think of how that must be.
I enjoyed the orphan doll journal. It's really exciting to see how God is using you and your family to reach orphans.
sweet analogy!
love the verse too!
I am praying, Kimmie. I really am...
