From my Heart~
I found myself fighting great discouragement yesterday. Several times I had an overwhelming feeling of frustration and discouragement, in regards to our adoption and it's finances.
We brought our homestudy to our state to have it notarized and the fees since our last adoption (ie-less than 12 months ago) have tripled. How can this be?
Soon, we will have to pay half of the adoption cost to our agency...considering we don't have it; we are truly needing God to come and help us.
We've cut back on everything, including Christmas. My Knight and I have forgone all gifts for each other; there won't even be stockings for us (we will give a small stocking to each child). There are no gifts this year, besides a few small inexpensive things for our 7 children's stockings.
We are not eating out. I cut out Starbucks completely. We are trying to stretch every dollar, so we can put more towards our awaiting daughter in Ethiopia.
God gave me a verse yesterday, it made me cry. I will share it with you. I don't know if you will cry, I am sure just typing it out will make the tears slip out once again. We have given to the very bottom of our barrel...please God come.
Luke 6:38
Give, and it will be given to you.
A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over,
will be poured into your lap.
For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.

Baby Matt joined us on Wednesday. Please pray for all of us as we adjust. As this is the 3rd baby in 2-1/2 years, I also want to make sure my older ones have some of my time also.
Please pray for my update to go through quickly as I need it to file my i-600a. It is imperative that it happens quickly as my file is at 2nd Legalization. Sometimes the stress and the waiting are SO hard. Please, God, bless our prayer requests and send comfort and peace to our hearts.
Oh Kimmie, my heart aches for you. I just want to give you guys $15000 so so much!! :( Not that we have anything like that kind of money, but I want it, and I want to give it to you. I want to see this girl out of that orphanage, and home.
We will see that happen, I know it. God is so close to your family right now and I love that He gave you that verse. Remember all things are possible. When it seems the mountains are falling into the sea, He can still prevail. He is beyond anything we can imagine, and will do things beyond our wildest dreams. He knows the desires of your heart Kimmie, and He loves you so much!
Blessings today,
Saminda xo
When we were down on our knees, desperately praying in every penny of the nearly $45,000.00 that it took to adopt our daughter from Russia . . . God never failed us. We always had the money come through in the most amazing ways at the last minutes . . . I am praying you will find that to be true also. God even had us get a TAX REFUND IN MID-AUGUST (who ever gets them THEM?!) that our accountant did not think was owed to us (she didn't think we were getting one penny back!) and to this day we still don't know how it could happen . . . but it was within DOLLARS of the amount of money we needed to buy our tickets to go for court . . . (and the date had already been set by the Judge so we HAD to go!) I say God can get inside the computers at the IRS . . . ;-) Praying for your miracle money too.
