A Call to Ethiopia-An Adoption Story
Once upon a time in a far away land named Africa, in a country named Ethiopia
there lived a little girl;
she was an orphan.
God led us to her by His Holy Spirit. We found her in September 2009, as we spent a week together as a family praying. On the last day of our prayer week (in the last hours of the day), we got an email from Celebrate Children International. We had listed on Rainbowkids, our desire for another child from Africa. The director of CCI, thought she might have a *match* for us. The note from Sue got us into her waiting child area with a password.
As I looked through the pages of children, past the two little girls who were to be our possible *match,* there I saw our daughter. Immediately, I knew she was mine. Amazing how the Holy Spirit works His Will in our lives; once we surrender to Him.
These are among the first pictures we received.
My dear sweet baby, Mama and Papa are coming for you. We can't wait! How God has etched you into our hearts. How does He make you love someone you've only seen from afar? How does He make you love someone so deeply that you'd do anything to get them home?
Oh my sweet girl, we can't wait to kiss and hold you. May God Himself restore all that the enemy has taken from you. Oh how He will bless you my darling. Your life is to bring Him much glory, you are a world changer beautiful girl. Continue to keep your ear to His heart, He is so faithful!
