Our adoption seems to constantly stall...even though it was a "simple" foster-adoption case. It is now in the legal phase and we are waiting to hear from the attorney.
Oh Kimmie, please please pray for my friends boy, Conner. He is 4 years old and is not well. The last status update read "Asking EVERYONE to pray that Conner will wake up! This is so hard to watch..... Please please, pray that our fighter will wake up."
He has cancer. He has RSV. He's been unresponsive to everything except for pain and fear. And apparently now he doesn't even have that. I've been friends with Conners mom for 20 years. I don't even have the words to describe my heartache for this little boy.

My uncle Chet passed away unexpectedly last night. He was the pastor at his church, and when he didn't come home after his family had already gotten home, tehy went back. He was found unresponsive in the parking lot of the church. My family has endured great loss recently with the death of my 18 year old cousin from unknown causes (autopsy did not show anything) right after Christmas, and now Uncle Chet. Please pray for my family as well as this church who has lost not only a friend, but a wonderful pastor and man of God. We rejoice that he is with JEsus, singing at the top of his lungs I am sure :) We grieve, but we grieve with hope, and for that I'm so thankful!

I'm not very religious but I am lost right now. My father died last week after a four year battle with cancer. My 8ish year old Ethiopian daughter has been hime in th eUS for a year and a half. She has lost so much already. We are reeling. Any prayer for our peace and strength would be appreciated.
