Please pray for my husband and I. Tomorrow at 3 he has a doctor appointment - he was diagnosed with early emphysema and we really think that's not the correct diagnosis since he can pinpoint when all these strange symptoms started. Pray for the doctor's to have wisdom to figure out what really is going on. Thanks so much!
PS. If you visit my blog, please don't mention this! We haven't told friends or family at this point in time and I'm not sure when my hubby wants to.
Definately pray for a friend of mine, her husband wants to leave her and she has a brain tumor and cannot work because she can barely hold things and has a hard time health wise. So pray that she would as well trust the Lord in this situation! She is struggling with her walk with the King. Thank you!
Hi kimmie, I just wanted to say thank you for your prayers for the funds to come in for our adoption. God answers prayers and He came through for us to bring our daughter home! The Friday and Monday before we left my brother and sister both got loans for us to fund the money we needed for travel. We will pay them back with our taxes but it was miracle that they were able to get the loans approved with in the same day. The total amounts added up to what we needed (10 grand). It was a true answer and miracle for us because we were down to the wire!! God showed up at the 11th hour and 59th minute. Just wanted you to know that your prayers are heard! Thanks, Melanie
Hi Kimmie! Thank you SO much for praying for my husband and I! Today was my husband's appointment and it was very nerve wracking for a while, BUT the doctor came in after consulting with the nurse practitioner and reviewing my husband's records and declared that he does not have emphysema!!!!! I nearly fell off the chair and cried like a baby with relief and my husband just couldn't believe it.
After mulling over having emphysema for about a month or so, it was hard for him to wrap his mind around not having it. He is very relieved, too (now that it has sunk in).
The doctor said the hospital did not read the test right - outright disagreeing with the diagnosis. We figure if the pulmonologist who specialized in this says it was wrong, then it was wrong.
My hubby uses a c-pap machine and the doctor is of the opinion that the air pressure is up too high and causing the discomfort, so he'll get that taken care of next month.
Thank you ever so much for praying! I'm glad we didn't tell many people, but I had to update the ones I had secretly praying for us. :)
The doctor didn't say when how quickly it needed to be done, but the only open Friday they had was that night. He did recommend my hubby to use the humidifier and continue losing weight (we started counting calories and exercising 16 days ago). :)

But...is it safe to wait a month to fix the air pressure issue?

He'll be ok until then.
