Adoption update!
We just got an email from our agency, All God's Children International, we moved another number on the referral list...we are number 12! Waiting on the infant girls list, hoping for twins, open to siblings, but regardless God spoke "2" !
Twelve, 12...yeah!!
August and September are the rainy season in Ethiopia, so the courts shut down- things slow down we've been told, but hoping that referrals will still come and by October that we will get our long awaited phone call with our referral(s).
Yeah, did I say we are now number 12!! Be still my heart!

I just got back from a visit to see my sister in maryland and while I was checking other people's blogs thought I would check yours just to see if maybe you had updated. I'm so glad to see that you're back. congratulations on being #12!
I love to read about your ability to hear God. I think I may have that gift as well.
Also, thank you for your suggestion to get a journal for my devotions. shortly after you gave me that advice, Sherry and Beth bought me a bible and JOURNAL as a graduation gift. and i'm very glad to have them.
I loved being with your youngest three for VBS as well. they are all so sweet and I'm glad to hear meemer lost his first tooth!

We can get a referral at anytime now. (some people don't want babies or twins/siblings...so we'd jump the list in those cases). After we say yes to our referral(s), then we just wait for the Ministry of Womens Affairs to finish up the Ethiopian end of paperwork (maybe a month more of waiting?)...then my Knight and I fly to Africa (2 days from here) to stay for 5 days, then we get to bring our children HOME!(we will be doing this with several other waiting families).
We covet prayers for our finances. We have never fund raised, only prayed and allowed God to be our provision.
We'd love to take our nine year old Princess Sunshine-she has some hurts still from her years of abuse and neglect (prior to her adoption through foster care)-I really think flying to get our babies will bring her some deep healing. But with plane prices I'm not sure we can do it-we need to buy 2 round tickets (me and my knight) and then 2 one way. We are thinking (though haven't checked) that tickets will be over $1,000 each for the round ticket fare...and $800 for the one ways.
ouch.
God can do it...what is an extra $1,000 to God. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.
We seriously would love prayer specifically on this.
